Remember

The question that WordPress posed today was “What do you want to be remembered for?” I was looking for a topic and when I saw that thought “why not?” Then I started thinking about it, and I don’t know how I want to be remembered.

I would really like to be remembered for writing some knock-out article or book, that would be the big dream. To write something that makes a huge impact on something or someone. It would be an unbelievable experience to know that I would be remembered for something like that.

The truth though is that I will be just as happy to be remembered as the friend who was there whenever I could be, and sometimes even when it felt impossible. To be remembered as the mom who may have raised her voice even when she shouldn’t but still showed her son all the love she could and taught him how to be accepting of everyone. To be remembered as the person who did not let anything stand in the way of her dreams and fought to accomplish them. I would also like to be remembered as the person who didn’t stop until she achieved those dreams.
