It’s Thirsty Thursday, but I overslept

No aerobics and yoga for me this morning because I overslept. I’m not going to let it bother me though, I could use a rest day, or I can do it this afternoon instead. I will decide this afternoon when I get home. The brat is back on the bus so I do have a little extra time this morning to work on things I would like to work on!

Yesterday was a great day. Work went well and I got to see one of my co-workers that I’ve missed this summer! We went to lunch together and just spent some time catching up with each other. It was really great. The way our lunch fell I just went ahead and came home afterward and worked on a few things, before heading to my youngest brothers golf game. It was his first game since he started playing this year so he didn’t do very well, but I was very glad that he wasn’t stressing about it. He said that he would just yes it as a learning opportunity; okay so he didn’t put it in those words, but what he said meant the same thing.

On my way home James called and wanted to go to this Chinese restaurant in town that he had never been to and that his daughter says is good. I disagree completely and do not like to eat there, but it meant that I didn’t have to cook, and I figured that maybe I should give them another chance after 2-3 years. Well I shouldn’t have, there were just as bad as I remembered. The crab rangoons were nasty; I know they are more of an Americanized food, but they are my favorites! These crab rangoons tasted like sugar and sour cream and the filling was runny. If you can screw up a crab rangoon you can screw up anything!

Going out to eat put a major kink in the getting home and getting things done plan though. So when we did get home Tyler still had homework to do, and I still had several things on my to-do list to get done before I went to bed. So we were both tired this morning, and I overslept by 45 minutes. So now I’m trying to rush to do everything at once so that I can get out the door. The only good thing is that I didn’t have to take Tyler to school so I get a bit more time at home!
